David FLACHER

Head of the Graduate School of Sustainability and Transitions

David FLACHER serves as the director of the “EPOG+ Erasmus Mundus” joint program, specializing in economic policies for global transition. As a Professor of Economics and Deputy Director of the COSTECH interdisciplinary research laboratory at UTC, he is dedicated to exploring technology through the lens of social and human sciences.

Holder of an engineering degree from Télécom Paris and a Ph.D. in economics from Université Paris 9-Dauphine – PSL, David held positions as an associate professor at Université Paris 13 and directed the CEPN research laboratory (CNRS UMR 7234). In 2012, he established the first “Erasmus Mundus” Master’s degree within EPOG. His recent research delves into the economics of education, digital commons, and the transformations of the economy in the digital age.
